1. Loitta Shutki Chatni ||



Loitta Sutki [Bombay Duck] : The fish is often dried and salted before it is consumed, as its meat does not have a distinctive taste of its own. After drying, the odour of the fish is extremely powerful, and it is usually transported in air-tight containers. Fresh fish are usually fried and served as a starter. In Mumbai, Konkan, and the western coastal areas in India, this dish is popularly known as "Bombil fry".

Ingredients:
4 sticks of Loitta Sutki [bombay duck]
2 medium sized onions
1 tomato
Oil
6 cloves of garlic
2 Green Chilli
Spices: 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp salt

How to:
1. Clean & Soak Sutki in water for 15 minute .
2. Cut the them into small pieces (about 4-6 pieces per stick).
3. Prepare the vegetables by cutting them into Julienne [onion and garlic & Green Chilli]
4. In hot oil, fry the garlic & onion & Sutki || fry until it turn into brown ..
5. Add Chopped tomato & fry for 1 minute.
6. Add the spices as above along with the salt & fry for another 2 minute.
7. Add half a cup of water.
8. Cook for 10-12 minutes on medium heat.
*** Serve hot with Rice/Roti + Dal  ***
